Managing Director

Sam Maroulis

Managing Director Sam Maroulis founded Darling Irrigation with his wife Phoebe in 2004. Sam enjoys the dynamic and changing nature of the irrigation, water and pumping industry and relishes the opportunity to combine his engineering background with operating business in regional and rural Australia. Sam continues to build solid relationships with leading Australian manufacturers, and maintains a focus on key operational areas of the business.

Sales Manager

Leon Larsen

As the Sales Manager for Darling Irrigation Wagga and Launceston’s businesses, Leon's extensive experience in board acre and horticulture irrigation systems, specialising in drip irrigation systems, ensures clients receive maximum value and benefits from Darling Irrigation systems. Leon completed an Applied Science Degree majoring in Environmental Science in 2003 and has been working in irrigation since 2004.

Graham Robinson

Graham has been designing and delivering a range of successful irrigation projects for DI customers since joining the team in 2012. Recently promoted to branch manager of our Dubbo and Narromine stores; Graham brings over ten years’ industry experience to our company, along with qualifications in horticulture, irrigation, and business.

Carolyn Browne

Carolyn started with Darling Irrigation in 2008 as Finance Manager out of Forbes and progressed to Customer Service Manager in 2016. She is currently located in Wagga and considers her strengths are problem solving and team unity.

Dave Batty

David has over 35 years’ experience in retail & service, small business and multi-site management in a diverse range of industry groups. He holds a Diploma in Business and Management and due to his broad experience is well versed in the Mining, Industrial, Civil Water Categories & Polyethylene Pipe Manufacturing. Producing solutions for our clients is what drives David to excel in his role as CSM for Polycon Engineering.

Matthew Pitt

Originally from Tasmania Matthew has a background in mixed farming and has extensive experience in irrigated pasture and crops, using flood, big gun irrigators and pivots. Matthew has completed an Associate Diploma in Farm Management at Orange Agricultural College and has passion for supporting more profitable and sustainable farming systems.

Narelle Lindsay

Narelle has over 17 years’ experience in the irrigation industry and holds a Business Degree.  She has a special interest in logistics and inventory. As CSM for Campaspe Irrigation Narelle’s focus is to ensure we provide quality solutions to our customers whilst running a cohesive and tight knit team
